As of June 28th 2023, we’re thrilled to announce that ALES has obtained its first impact factor for the 2022 citation year of 0.5. This achievement highlights the significant scientific reach and respect that the journal has garnered in the laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery fields.
With the opportunity, we are delighted to present the 2023 annual report of ALES. Till December 31, 2023, ALES boasts a diverse Editorial Board comprising 80 members from 18 different countries. 35 articles have been published last year, with 52% Review Article, 11% Case Report, 11% Surgical Technique, 11% Editorial Commentary, 9% Editorial, 3% Brief Report and 3% Original Article. Corresponding authors came from 11 countries, with mostly from USA. According to the Google Analytics, website visitors of last year reached to 263,183 with 450,646 pageviews.
